Written by Paul Race for East of Enon?

This is the page for asking us about our availability for your venue or event.

Paul and the East of Enon musicians love playing anywhere we can squeeze onto a stage and sing our hearts out, including coffeehouses, spring festivals, summer festivals, fall festivals, winter festivals, Folk festivals, Americana festivals, arts and crafts festivals, food truck festivals, concert series, farmer's markets, street fairs, county fairs, nursing homes, benefit concerts, historical reenactments, and library, church, and school music programs.

We play because we love it and to support causes we believe in, including promoting traditional acoustic music. In other words, though we expect fair compensation when playing in commercial endeavors, we also accept some volunteer opportunities as long as:

  • They support something we believe in (which actually covers a wide range of events promoting arts, music, cultural awareness, or causes), and

  • We're not the only participants working for free.

There may be exceptions when we're, say, returning favors for friends, breaking in new members, or trying to get a foothold in a new environment. So feel free to contact us and let us know your situation.

In addition, we try to promote any worthwhile event we are involved in, so our contribution isn't limited to the time we spend on your platform.
